I checked the kids out of school early Thursday and we went to the zoo. Greg and I realized that Emmy had never been and Holly couldn't remember ever going there. Shame! We had a great afternoon. My favorites are the giraffes and the bug collection (yes, they are dead bugs, but fascinating!). I'm sure I should have written something really great about the zoo and how my kids are monkeys themselves, et cetera, et cetera. But I'm busy trying to get our maintenance blog going, baking for the PTA luncheon, running kids all around, folding laundry, kissing boo-boos, loading the dishwasher (again), and getting my butt kicked at Settlers (again).
